Alstroemeria colorita ‘Louise’

Alstroemeria Louise (part of the Colorita series) is a compact and floriferous perennial, prized for its vibrant, long-lasting blooms. Throughout summer and into autumn, it produces clusters of rich cerise-pink flowers with contrasting golden-yellow throats, flecked with purple-brown markings, held above neat, upright foliage.

Ideal for borders, containers and patio planting, it brings continuous colour and excellent structure to smaller spaces. Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Its long stems also make it an excellent cut flower for indoor arrangements.

The sap can be an irritant.

June-November flowering. Grows best in a sunny and well drained position. Height & spread: 40cm x 40cm (16″ x 16″).

Bright + bold blooms are a great addition to any container. Alstroemeria are great for attracting pollinators to your garden, and blooms throughout the spring and summer.

To keep this Alstroemeria looking its best, here are a few guidelines for care:
Keep well watered (allow the top couple inches of soil to dry out before watering again)
Fertilize once a week (easiest to do with water soluble fertilizer in a watering can once a week)
Pinch off dead flowers from the base to encourage new growth and blooms
