This species is one of the more compact Coelogyne species native to Nepal and China; which require intermediate or cool weather, shade or bright filter light. It needs a little dry winter in order to spikes. One bulb can produce 2-4 growths, then will turn to spikes later.Each spike will given 6-12 pure white flowers in Spring. This is a verynice orchidspecies for Fragrant Lovers!

TEMPERATURE: As it is a high altitude plant from the Himalayas, it requires a cool drop in temperature at night in the winter especially. The minimum temperature should be around 52F80F (8-10C) in winter. Try to keep as cool as possible in the summer.

LIGHT: Keep shaded from the bright summer sun but give as much light as possible during the dull winter months.
