They are prone to root rot, so water moderately when the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry. To increase humidity, keep a tray filled with clean water and pebbles underneath the pot. Don\’t let the pot stand in water Fertilizer:Fertilize once every 2-3 weeks with a diluted water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season (April – August) Soil:Well draining soil is a must for colocasia. A mixture that is organically rich will allow them to thrive. Keep the soil damp, but not soggy
