Fatshedera Lizei

Fatshedera Lizei, scitifically known as Fatshedera lizei, also known as Tree Ivy, is a rare botanical curiosity a hybrid between Fatsia japonica and Hedera helix (English Ivy). This evergreen plant combines the best of both worlds: the broad, glossy leaves of Fatsia and the climbing tendencies of Ivy. Its large, five-lobed leaves can grow up to 8 inches wide, giving it a bold, tropical look. Discovered in 1910 at a French nursery, Fatshedera is often referred to as a botanical wonder due to its unusual parentage and ability to grow either as a shrub or a vine. With a little support, it will climb; without it, it takes on a shrubby, upright form, making it incredibly versatile for indoor or patio spaces.
