A charming and highly textural variety of the classic Shasta Daisy, Leucanthemum x superbum ‘Mount Hood’ is a compact perennial favourite. From early summer right through to early autumn, it produces a profusion of large, fully double blooms. The snowy-white petals are distinctively frilled and layered, surrounding a soft, pale yellow centre that adds a cheerful focal point.
Its neat, low-mounding habit makes it perfect for the front of sunny borders, rockeries, or brightening up patio containers. Exceptionally hardy and vigorous, this robust plant is a magnet for pollinators and makes a superb, long-lasting cut flower.
May-October flowering. Best in a sunny position in well-drained soil. Height & spread: 35cm x 30cm (14″ x 12″).
